The winner of the dog park naming competition was chosen last night at the city council meeting.  The dog park will be called La Paws Park!  2nd place went to Canine Canyon and 3rd place was Wiggly Field.   If you have any questions, please contact the city at  Thank you!

I am pleased to finally announce the date of the grand opening of the Mission Viejo Dog Park.  It is April 12th from 9 a.m. to noon!  It should be quite the celebration and one we have been waiting for a very long time.

On March 3rd at 6:00 p.m. city council chambers at city hall, the Mission Viejo City Council will vote on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners of the naming of the dog park competition and also announce to the public the grand opening date.  It would be wonderful to see the support of the dog park at the city council meeting and for the announcement of the name and for the grand opening.  The address of the dog park is 24970 Felipe Road in Mission Viejo between La Paz and Oso Parkway.  See you there!
